CYCLE HIRE

Byways Bicycles is situated in the heart of Suffolk and is central to some of the best cycling in Suffolk.

There is car parking and a picnic area at the centre. Darsham Station is only one mile away if you want to come by train.

Cyclists must be able to ride competently and safely on the road, observing the Highway Code at all times.

Most of our all terrain bikes have front suspension and are ideal for ‘off road’ tracks. Are you looking for comfort and ease of use? Then the touring bikes are for you.

For younger members of the family we have junior mountain bikes (for approx age 8 upwards). Other accessories for hire include panniers, baskets and helmets. If you are biking after lighting-up time, you will need to purchase a lighting package. We also offer a local bike delivery and collection service for our hire customers. Contact us for details.

Cycle Hire Rates

Adults
Day hire: £20 per bike
3 days: £45 per bike
Weekly hire: £70 per bike

Juniors
Day hire: £15 per bike
3 days: £30 per bike
Weekly hire: £50 per bike

Service available from Easter to September 2nd 2012.

Delivery available on 3 day and weekly hire only.

It is essential that you phone to discuss your requirements and cycle availability before making your journey or holiday plans.

We are closed on Tuesdays.

This internet information replaces all previous information and leaflets.

Our hire bikes have been specially chosen to be suitable for leisure cycling in our local Suffolk Coastal area.. If you need a bike to use outside this area, please let us know when booking.

All hire prices include locks, pumps and repair kits.

We do not hire tandems, child seats, tag a longs or trailers.

Open daily (except Tuesday) 9.30 - 5.00. Restrictions to these times occasionally apply. Please ring before making your journey.

There is a minimum £20.00 cash refundable security deposit on each hire cycle. Deposits vary depending on the type of cycle hired. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. Proof of identity must be given when hiring cycles.

All major credit cards welcomed.

We no longer accept cheques.
